As the telecom environment in the global market tends to undergo privatization, the demand for enhanced telecom service, data/voice converge multimedia interactive service, and public pay phones are growing together with the advances in wireless technology.  Thaimark Solution Technology Corp. aims to be the first local telecom equipment technology solution provider to the telecom manufacturers in Thailand to produce IC card public payphone, IC Card &Coin combined public payphone, Web multimedia public payphone, Unified Network Soft Switch service system, Internet web-enabled Call Center service system, and Intelligent Network service system to meet these regional demands.

 

 

Thaimark has an agreement with Telecom Laboratory Research Center (TL) of Chung-Hwa Telecom (CHT) in Taiwan to technically corporate with Thaimark in development of IC Chip Card public payphone and IC Card/Coin combine public payphone.  Furthermore, during the past five years, Thaimark has been one of the pioneers in Thailand successfully adopted the open telecom technology in developing its core technology.  The idea of open telecom technology applies to many cost effective developments of the valued-added service systems, such as Pre-paid Card service system, PTT Unified Mail service system, Trouble Reporting service system, Billing Reminding service system, and SS7 Intelligent Network (IN) service system.

Thaimark has spent time, money and energy to develop IC card public pay phone system based on ChungHwa telecom technology and to develop PTT enhanced service systems based on open telecom platform in the past.  They are PIN Pre-Paid calling card service system, Phone Trouble Reporting Service System, and PTT Voice Mail Service System.  In the meantime, we are also concentrating on Internet telephony service systems. TEST Corporation will also offer IC card public telephone service system , IC Card/Coin combined Paid Phone service system and multimedia public pay phone system.

 

 

Recently, Thaimark signed the corporation contract with Cap Gemini, one of the biggest system integration house in Europe, to join with Business Support Service (BSS) System which includes turn key solution of customer care and billing service system for the Taiwanese fix line new operator.  Cap Gemini chooses Thaimark as her local partner in Thailand for TOT CSIS (Customer Service information system), Data Warehouse Project, Multi service for data ATM network project, Real Time Switch Call Detail Record (CDR) data correction project, and new CDMA mobile BSS turn key solution for TOT.

 

 

With the deteriorating economics in Asia and the competition from the impact of privatization, Thaimark predicts that the Telecom service providers in the Pacific Rims have no choice but to purchase cost effective telecom solutions with value-added enhance service platform.  In this way, they are able to cope with the tougher market in the next five years.  With this concern in mind, Thaimark has spent time; money and energy to develop PTT enhanced service systems based on open telecom platform in the past.  They are PIN Pre-Paid calling card service system, Phone Trouble Reporting Service System, and PTT Voice Mail Service System.  In the meantime, Thaimark also concentrate on Internet telephony service system.

Thaimark is looking forwards to join with more business partner for developing medium- to large-scale messaging service system, telecom customer service related call center service system, and IP Exchange service system for voice over IP network which base on open Telecom hardware architecture The product specifications and requirement will through inputs of the existing market product information as well as the tender bid specifications from TOT and ChungHwa telecom.  The goal for the medial message service system is to achieve a market share of 15% in the 100 million dollar Multimedia Interactive service industry (Asia Pacific within 5 years).

 

 

In year 2001 we expect 15 million US$ turn over due to we win TOT 32,000 units of IC Card Public Pay Phone service system in year 2000, and the company expects to achieve the annual revenue of USD 50 million within three years with an annual growth of 60%.  In year 2001, we expect to win more IC card public pay phone project from TOT and new contracted operator, we expect to sale more than 20 million US$ in year 2001.
