Thaimark Solutions Technology Co., Ltd. has the authorization to produce and distribute the public card telephone set, model TL-ICP3 as Thaimark has signed the Technology Transfer Contract with Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd.,a leading telecommunication company in Taiwan, at  the auspicious Signing Ceremony on  February  12,2001.

 

Thaimark are now promoting the IC Card Telephone Set, TL-ICP3, as IC Card Payphone is more advantageous than other types of payphone by its convenience.

(Call without coins, speed dial, etc.) Also, maintenance and operation cost for this payphone has been lowered and cheaper than other types of payphones.

 

The payphone is an indispensable communication tool in our daily lives.  There are several practical inconveniences with traditional coin payphone, such as the trouble of carrying coins, the fake coins, the theft of coin cabinet, the collection and replacement of coin cabinet and so on.  The above problems have never happened after card payphone is used.  The multiple conveniences of card payphone make it the mainstream of future payphones.

 

For the moment, the cards used on payphone can be classified into three systems, namely magnetic card, optical card and IC card.  Among these three cards, the IC card has large memory space and Chip Operation System, therefore, it has the advantages of high security and the storage and processing data, and is suitable for the planning and multi-function application.  Therefore, many countries are constructing IC Card Payphone actively.
